Manager Accounts

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: Assistant Vice President Accounts

Key Responsibilities



Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and present accurate monthly financial reports, dashboards, and performance reviews.
  • Provide timely, reliable financial data and analysis for strategic decision-making and planning.
  • Create financial models and forecasts that support multi-scenario planning and agile business decisions
  • Compute P&L impact and cash flow analysis for large deals and strategic investments.
  • Predict financial implications of decisions such as new deals, license renewals, or product investments
  • Track and report realization rates per customer and return on capital employed (ROCE).
  • Monitor line of business investments and assess profitability.
  • Identify and report variances to forecast, budget, and prior year performance.

Strategic Finance & Business Partnership

  • Provide actionable financial advice and insights.
  • Work closely with the finance team and business units to define and review metrics, KPIs, and business goals.
  • Prepare presentations and business cases with thoughtful analysis and clear decision framing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on corporate initiatives and projects affecting the entire organization.
  • Lead efforts to identify business challenges and proactively recommend data-driven solutions.

Operational Finance & Audit

  • Independently prepare company financials in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Manage and lead the audit process with internal and external auditors.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reconciliation of accounts.

Requirements

  • Charted Accountant/MBA degree and more than 2 years of experience in finance or accounting or a related area
  • General knowledge of accounting / financial / operational principles
  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
